Summary

You’re never too young to learn the language of money… and the lessons that rich dad taught Robert。 Like it or not, money is a part of our everyday lives and the more we understand it, the better the chance that we can learn to have our money work hard for us—instead of working hard for money all our lives。 That starts with learning the language of money。

This book, created from the international bestseller Rich Dad Poor Dad, shares Robert’s inspiring person story but teaches how to make smart choices。 Packed with straight talk, sidebars, and quizzes, this book will jumpstart a child’s personal and financial success by teaching: How to speak the language of money, ways to make money work for you, tips for success (including: “Work to learn, not to earn。”), and why games can help you understand money, investing, and ways to choose your best path to financial freedom。

Useful starting point for children。 I think this is suitable for children 12 and above。 Covers concepts of assets and liabilities, different types of income and stresses on working to learn not just to earn。 Certain views may sound controversial like the relevance of conventional educational systems - please use your own common sense and do what works for you。 Over all I would recommend this for children。 Important financial topics covered。

No es el tipo de contenido que estoy acostumbrada a leer, supongo que por eso no me gustó mucho。Me gustó que hay partes donde te pone actividades para que vayas aprendiendo de dinero。

Wow! This was a good book, really taught me the difference between the rich people and poor people and how you smartly rich people work。 It’s really talk more about investing money on thing like: stocks, real estate, crypto。 Focus on building more assets。 My best takeaway is that you should pay yourself before anyone(assets)。

Yes, should have read this forty years ago!

Barely any information, probably most teens are already familiar with these definitions。

Dated and too simplified for teens。

I don’t think teens listening to this will really take it seriously。 They are not mature enough to understand what this means and the message behind it。 Plus, their faces are too stuffed inside of their phones to recognize what’s going on in the outside world。I also found this reading to be quite…vague? There are some real life examples but not enough that I think actually apply to teens。

This was a really good book。 It’s didn’t take me long to read at all。 It really opened my eyes and I learned a lot of things about money that I did not know。 I loved how he showed different points of views from both dads。

I read this book with my son。 This book gave him some new ways to think about his relationship with money。 He is just turning 14 and it's starting to think about working, saving, giving and investing and the book gives some easy way to start to develop a plan。 The definition of an asset as something that pays one back long haul and the difference between a liability and a debt definitely reframed his thinking about what he saves his money for and how he spends it。 I definitely recommend this boo I read this book with my son。 This book gave him some new ways to think about his relationship with money。 He is just turning 14 and it's starting to think about working, saving, giving and investing and the book gives some easy way to start to develop a plan。 The definition of an asset as something that pays one back long haul and the difference between a liability and a debt definitely reframed his thinking about what he saves his money for and how he spends it。 I definitely recommend this book for talking about money with your tween to teen children。 The only weakness is that I wish there were some more examples of practical problem solving with money matters。 However my son loved the book and got him thinking about his financial future so consider this resource。 。。。more

Although the book is getting a bit dated with its examples, the ideas and concepts are still relevent。

If the teenager could stay low and read this? Rate of poverty would have been less!

I did not fully understand this book since it has complicated words, but it has taught me many things about money that I think I won’t learn in School。 It was an awesome book and I hope lots of teens read this book because now I am full of ideas on how to be Rich! I will come back to this book when I become a teen。

I'd be the first to tell you that I'm terrible with money。 I also hate books that are mostly filler garbage that the author used to pad their manuscript so publisher's might pick it up。 That's why this book is so good。 It was written for teens。 While I'm sure it didn't touch on more complex financial topics, what it offers is a fantastic day of principles that anyone can implement into their financial life (if that's a thing)。This book was not really written for someone like me。 I'm more like th I'd be the first to tell you that I'm terrible with money。 I also hate books that are mostly filler garbage that the author used to pad their manuscript so publisher's might pick it up。 That's why this book is so good。 It was written for teens。 While I'm sure it didn't touch on more complex financial topics, what it offers is a fantastic day of principles that anyone can implement into their financial life (if that's a thing)。This book was not really written for someone like me。 I'm more like the poor dad in this book。 I have enough and money isn't a big motivator for me。 That said, even if you're like me, there's good stuff here。While I'm only giving it a 3-star rating (meaning that I liked it), I very much do recommend that just about anyone give it a read。 It's concise, and after reading it, if the topic really grabs you, go on and read one of his other books。 I think it will do you some good。 。。。more

I recommend this book to ALL teens。 It is a very good foundation for learning about money and choosing to change mental thinking of money。

A must-read & quick-read for teens to develop financial intelligence! Though I bought this version by mistake (should have bought the thicker one for adults。。) and I've come across similar ideas in different scenarios, the ideas that 'work to learn', 'get a mentor to play professionally', 'assets vs liability' and 'choose the person you spend most time with wisely' are still refreshing to me。 A must-read & quick-read for teens to develop financial intelligence! The very first book that I read about finance。Helps me a lot, Thank you。

I thought this contained a lot of good advice but it was a little short。 I wish he could have gone in more detail about some things but I still feel like I learned a lot。

Thomas Maluck

Recycles most of the material from the original Rich Dad Poor Dad。 Dials down the condescension and sharkish opportunism, leans more on encouragement and making connections。 The narration also makes sure to reign in any absolutist advice。 The tone-deaf chapter on BUY MY MONEY GAMES should have been limited to a promotional page in the very back。 An overall improvement, but still not very good。

Miguel

Pitiful。 A waste of money。
